Situated at East Strand, Portrush The Arcadia Beach Café is run by Tanya Gillen and Tomasz Jegier. The café, which is below the Arcadia Hotel, overlooks the sea and serves a selection of delicious home-baked treats, sausage rolls and scones and coffees. Seating is also available outside and is ideal for sunny days or to take in the view.
The Arcadia Beach Café runs regular pop-up Supper clubs as well as doubling up as a wedding venue and wellness retreat. Weekly Yoga, Pilates, Zumba & Tai Chi classes are taught at this seasonal coffee shop, overlooking their very own beach.
Before being turned into a hotel and café, the venue was a famous ballroom. Today diners can tuck into breakfast, lunch or tasty snacks, including freshly baked cakes and tray bakes, while The Supper Club offers large group dining with experienced local chefs.
The Arcadia is more than a café however, it also features an upstairs gallery that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and regularly exhibits work from local artists.
The café is a perfect meeting place for families and friends with a children’s play park and paddling pools just outside the door. The popular Ladies’ Beach is also conveniently located beside The Arcadia on the opposite side, with a clean sandy space for enjoying the water.
