If you’re looking for dining in an ‘olde worlde’ atmosphere with a modern feel offering the best of today’s favourite dishes, then Woodbank Vintage Tea Room House is the place for you!
The listed Georgian home offers a unique setting for a vintage tearoom and owner, Phyllis Clyde, ensures that the ambience is perfect for every customer, whether it’s for a romantic date setting or a family outing to enjoy some quality time together.
Woodbank Vintage Tea Room’s décor takes you back to bygone times, but the atmosphere is one of comfort and absolute pleasure.
Customers can choose to dine in the drawing room, the morning room and the family formal dining room. All are equally comfortable and enable families and friends to simply sit back and relax.
The tea room is also steeped in history. In fact, afternoon tea is served in the main reception rooms including the drawing room in which the Woman’s Institute of Northern Ireland had their first meeting.
There’s only one sitting per day in the tea room so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the food and surroundings with family and friends, comfortable in the knowledge that there’s no rush to allow more customers in.
As with the décor, the tea room’s food is full of tradition and includes delicious home-made soups, fresh finger sandwiches, home-made wheaten bread, light as sponge scones and the tea room’s signature fresh cream sponge cake – a major favourite with guests!
For those who don’t have a booking, or don’t have time to stay, you can avail of the takeaway afternoon tea, so there’s no excuse to miss out on what Woodbank Vintage Tea Room has to offer.
