The Causeway Coast and Glens offers a summer full of delightful food and drink experiences, whether you're creating your own chocolate treats, catching your breakfast at sunrise, or enjoying a Bridgerton-inspired afternoon tea.

Our Taste Causeway members have planned an array of experiences that celebrate the region's rich culinary heritage and innovative flavours. For locals and visitors alike these events provide the perfect opportunity to discover the tastes and traditions of our amazing area.

Here’s a look at some of the must-visit food and drink experiences happening this summer.

The Lamb Van at Ganaby Farm

Experience the taste of high quality grass fed NIFQA lamb which has been ethically reared on the Dempster’s farm near Ballymoney.

Join the Lamb Van this summer for a delicious meal served directly from their charmingly repurposed horse box.

Enjoy a main dish, side and drink for £15, all featuring the Dempsters’ succulent lamb paired with the finest local ingredients in a picturesque alfresco setting.

Bridgerton Afternoon Tea

Step back in time with a Bridgerton-inspired afternoon tea at the stunning Mussenden Temple.

“A Taste of Castlerock” has carefully curated the menu to pay tribute to the illustrious families of Bridgerton.

Enjoy a delightful selection of sandwiches and desserts, delectable scones and signature sweet treats.  The ingredients have been sourced from Taste Causeway producers to make this a truly local affair.

Bushmills Distillery Tours

Book a guided walking tour through the working core of the world’s oldest licensed distillery and see what it takes to produce a whiskey that has stood the test of time to create some of the finest Irish whiskies in the world.

Join one of the whiskey educators to see first-hand how the craft of whiskey- making is carried out at Old Bushmills Distillery. Walk with them through the living history of the grain-to-glass processes, experiencing the impressive sights and rich scents of each stage from mash tun to pot still to barrel. Then complete your tour in the 1608 bar to taste for yourself the culmination of more than 400 years of expertise and innovation.

Sunrise Catch Your Breakfast Food Tours

Start your day with a unique food tour. Set sail with Causeway boats , watch the sun rise over Dunluce Castle and catch your own breakfast on an adventure you won’t forget.

After your catch, enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared with the fresh seafood you’ve caught, complemented by other local ingredients.

Learn the art of making authentic paella with a hands-on cookery class.

Let the experts at Ocho Tapas show you how to create one of their favourite dishes. You’ll be treated to a glass of cava on arrival with homemade sourdough bread and dips.
