Ursa Minor Celebrate 10 years in business

Ursa Minor is a family-owned bakery in the smack-in-the-face beautiful seaside town of Ballycastle, with a focus on nutritious, honest and delicious food. They specialise in sourdough and their version of classic patisserie with a local slant; using as many seasonal Irish ingredients as possible, in all that they do.

Ursa Minor aim to educate through our food, support our producers and create a supportive network of nurturing businesses on the island. Their community is at the heart of what they do, encouraging them to continually improve, learn and develop. They run many events on and offsite to share their love of real food.

The bakery has just celebrated their tenth year in business and are proud to be as true to their ethos as when they began; with passion and integrity to all that they do.

This year Ursa Minor plan to open their bakery school, an open and accessible space to allow people to explore food through educational programmes, workshops and events.
