Maegden are a proper cheesemongers and quality food shop based in the north coast village of Bushmills, also serving up grilled cheese, sweet treats, and speciality coffee to go.
Every product Emma and Jo sell has been hand-selected by them supporting independent, authentically artisan producers from across Ireland and the UK.
Member Information
Since their days of serving toasties from a tiny vintage caravan in a field, Maegden have been all about supporting independent, authentically artisan local producers. Their grilled cheese is still crammed full of the very best farmhouse and small-batch Irish ingredients, straight from their cheese counter, and their retail shelves are only stocked with products that Emma and Jo love, cook with, or make ourselves. The majority of their cheese is sourced directly from independent, farmhouse cheesemakers across Ireland.
Coffees, loose-leaf teas, and everyone’s favourite – the Bonfire Hot Chocolate are also available.
If you’re having a gathering and would like to put together a bespoke cheeseboard or platter, just get in touch. Maegden also provide celebration cakes for weddings or other events – as many tiers are you like!
Maegden are open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
