Owner, Phyllis Clyde, ensures that the ambience at Woodbank House is perfect for every customer, whether it’s for a romantic date setting, a family outing to enjoy some quality time together or to celebrate a special occasion.

Customers can choose to dine in the drawing room, the morning room and the family formal dining room.

The tea room is steeped in history. In fact, afternoon tea is served in the main reception rooms including the drawing room in which the Woman’s Institute of Northern Ireland had their first meeting.

There’s only one sitting per day in the tea room so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the food and surroundings with family and friends, comfortable in the knowledge that there’s no rush to allow more customers in.

As with the décor, the tea room’s food is full of tradition and includes delicious home-made soups, fresh finger sandwiches, home-made wheaten bread, light as sponge scones and the tea room’s signature fresh cream sponge cake – a major favourite with guests!
