When you visit the towns and villages across the Causeway Coast and Glens area there are lots of opportunities to support our local producers by buying locally produced food and drinks.


  • Ballykenver Farm Shop

The Farmshop in Armoy underwent extension work earlier this year and reopened with the new branding “Ballykenver Farmshop & Kitchen”.  As well as being able to buy the full range of Ballykenver’s own preserves – Jams, Chutneys and Curds and award winning home made puddings, the farm shop also stocks a wide range of other locally made products.

  • McListers

A family run business with over 100 years in the retail sector, McLister's located in the centre of the North Coast town has all your local shopping needs covered with its selection of groceries and household products, which include a wide range of locally produced items.

  • Apperley Fine Foods

In November 2022 Apperley’s re-opened their newly renovated store in Ballymoney with a butchery, bakery area, deli, ready meal section and sit in area. The store now also stocks a wide range of locally made products. Apperley’s also have stores in Limavady, Ballymena and Antrim.

  • Maegden

Maegden are a proper cheesemongers and quality food shop based in the north coast village of Bushmills, also serving up grilled cheese, sweet treats, and speciality coffee to go.

Every product Maegden sell has been hand-selected by them supporting independent, authentically artisan producers from across Ireland and the UK.

Stone Row Artisans opened their doors in Coleraine Town Centre to the public in summer 2021 and are passionate about promoting the wealth of artistic and artisanal talent in Northern Ireland.   • Broighter Gold Farm Shop

Broighter Gold produce a range of multi award winning rapeseed oils and infused rapeseed oils from their family farm outside Limavady.  You can buy your own bottle of oil in their small on site shop along with a selection of other locally made products.

 As well as producing milk which can be bought by customers directly from the Milk Hut on the farm, Chestnutt’s Farm also produce their own delicious Greek style Yogurt and have an honesty shop on the farm where customers can buy a wide range of produce from across the island of Ireland.

Warke's Deli and coffee shop on Portstewart Promenade showcases local artisan producers and promotes fresh, locally sourced food.
