Success for Causeway Coast and Glens at The Irish Food Awards

 It was a fantastic weekend in Dingle at The Irish Food Awards for local food and drink producers who came home with a total of 8 Gold, 5 Silver and 6 Bronze awards. Morelli Ice Cream also won Best in County Derry, Best in Ulster and the Supreme Champion Award and Annie’s Delights won Best in County Antrim.

Blas na hÉireann (The Irish Food Awards) is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland.  It celebrates and rewards the very best Irish food and drink products, and the passionate, driven producers who make them.

With over 3000 products from every county in Ireland submitted for awards “making it as a finalist is a huge achievement and one to be very proud of,” says Artie Clifford, Chairperson and founder of Blas na hÉireann. “The competition ramps up year on year, meaning those producers who are short-listed as finalists really are the crème de la crème of Irish food and drink.”
