Taste Causeway Chefs and Producers at Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival

The weather forecast looks great for The Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival which is taking place this weekend to celebrate Ballycastle and Rathlin Island’s maritime heritage.

Visit the Cookery Bites Sessions on Sunday at Ballycastle Seafront from 12 noon to 4pm where our local chefs and producers will be showcasing the very best local produce from our foodie destination with a series of cookery demonstrations.

Cookery Bites will be compered by Taste Causeway member Wendy Gallagher of Causeway Coast Foodie Tours. Wendy is passionate about local food and will help tell the story of the fabulous dishes on offer by our chefs and producers.


Other Taste Causeway members are taking part in the Cookery Bites Sessions.


12 noon - Ruairidh Morrison of North Coast Smokehouse


1pm - Alastair Crown of Corndale Farm

2pm - Emer Mullan of Thyme & Co

3pm - Trudy Brolly of Ocho Tapas

The Naturally North Coast and Glens Artisan Market will also be returning to the festival again this year showcasing some fantastic food, arts, crafts and more from makers and creators across Northern Ireland.
There will be an incredible 101 small businesses showcased over the three day market at Ballycastle seafront, which takes place this weekend on Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th and Monday 29th May.
